Chamber Events

Business Network Lunch
Business Network Lunch is held monthly on the second Tuesday of each month from 11-1 at varying locations. It allows Chamber members to introduce themselves and learn about members’ businesses. This is the Chamber's largest event. Attendance typically ranges from 120-160 people.

Lunch & Learn Business Development Series
Lunch & Learn is a monthly business development seminar held the fourth Wednesday of each month from 11:30-1. These educational, networking luncheons focus on topics of interest and value to our members.

Breakfast Links
Breakfast Links is held monthly on the third Monday of each month from 7:30-9am at CiCi's Pizza. This catered breakfast (no pizza) allows Chamber members to introduce themselves and learn about members’ businesses. A guest speaker or sponsor gives a brief presentation about subjects of interest to the attendees.

Face 2 Face
Face 2 Face Networking is the business equivalent of speed dating. Each participant will be matched up with another participant based upon industries of interest and similar factors. You will be given 5 minutes to network before moving on to meet someone else. This event is held quarterly.

Business After Hours
Business After Hours is held the third Thursday of the month from 5-7pm. A different business hosts the event each month. Food & drinks are provided at no charge. This is a chance for Chamber members to interact in a casual social setting.

Ambassadors Lunch
This pro-active, networking arm of the Chamber meets on the first Wednesday of each month at noon at varying locations. The ambassador program can be a great way to promote your business while helping to welcome new businesses to Georgetown & the Chamber of Commerce. The Ambassador Lunch gives ambassadors an opportunity to enjoy a lunch together and find out about upcoming events.

Organizational Development Training Seminars (Silver Screen Seminars)
Video Training seminars held at City Lights Theatres on the big screen.  These quarterly seminars include motivational videos focused on customer service, team building, leadership, and creating an effective and successful organization that people love to work for.

Georgetown's Bridal Showcase (Held in late February)
Features about 50 vendors spread throughout the Chamber's building. In 2010, approx. 110 brides attended with family and friends. Many vendors said this was one of the best bridal shows they had attended because of the quality time with brides and because brides were eager to do business.

New Member Showcase (Held around March)
This business showcase is open to new members who joined the Chamber in the last year and is free to those members on a first come first served basis. 60 participants are provided a skirted table to showcase their products and services to the 500+ attendees including Chamber members and the general public.

Prime Time Annual Business Showcase (Held around May)
Prime Time serves as the Chamber’s Business After Hours event for May in addition to being a venue for Chamber Member businesses to showcase their products and services to 500+ attendees including Chamber members and the general public. Showcase space is limited for this popular event.

Annual Awards Banquet (Held in late January)
This formal banquet gives the Chamber a chance to give recognition for categories such as "Small Business of the Year," "Large Business of the Year," "Ambassador of the Year," and many other awards. Tickets are sold at the Chamber for this formal event which serves as the Business After Hours for January.

Annual Golf Tournament (Held in Spring)
The Chamber's annual golf tournament is one of our largest and most popular fundraisers. Due to its popularity, two golf tournaments are being planned for this year.

Annual Bar-Bid-Cue Auction (Held in October)
This event combines great BBQ with a silent & live auction. It's a casual event that is family friendly and a great opportunity to meet new people.
