About the Chamber Ambassador Program
This pro-active, networking arm of the Chamber meets on the first Wednesday of each month at noon. As an ambassador, you will be given a name tag with your name & the name of your business. The ambassador program can be a great way to promote your business while helping to welcome new businesses to Georgetown & the Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber Ambassador Activities:
*Actively welcome and support new and current members of the Chamber of Commerce.
*Recruit new members to the Chamber and the Ambassador organization, striving to add diversity to our membership.
*Agree to volunteer for at least one Chamber of Commerce fundraiser or event per year, whether it be as a committee member or simply volunteer at the event.
*Agree to attend at least 50% of the year’s Ribbon Cuttings for new businesses in the Chamber, Business After Hours gatherings, and Quarterly Membership Meetings.
*Agree to attend at least 50% of the year’s Ambassador monthly meetings.
*Be an enthusiastic, positive and outstanding example of the business community.

Chamber Ambassador of the Month:
Carlos Hernandez – Arthur Murray Dance Center
Carlos is co-owner of Arthur Murray Dance Center in Georgetown. When he’s not giving dance lessons, he can often be found spending time with the Georgetown Beard Club, golfing, or volunteering.
Kate Hill – Credence Chiropractic
Kate handles P.R. and marketing for Credence Chiropractic, a new chiropractic facility opening in Fall 2017.
Vicki Jackimeic – Dady Insurance
In addition to serving as the Public Relations Director for Dady Insurance, Vicki is heavily involved as a volunteer in downtown Georgetown.

Barb Wilk – Tailor Shop
With over 35 years of experience in all kinds of alterations for men and women, Barb Wilk can move shoulders, sleeves, shorten all garments, restyle an out dated garment, repairs, zippers, work with leather, you name it.
She works out of her home so calling for an appointment is necessary. She can also come to you if you are within Georgetown. She makes deliveries and fittings in Sun City on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings with appointment.
Rachel Anderson Hancock – Something Social
Rachel is the founder and owner of Something Social, a social media marketing agency. When not working on her business, Rachel can often be found volunteering in downtown Georgetown.
Chamber Ambassador of the Year:
Raymond Husser – Nextage Lone Star Realty
As a premier real estate agent in the Georgetown/ Round Rock area, Raymond can provide you with all the resources and information you need to buy or sell real estate. He works with buyers and sellers in Georgetown, Round Rock, North Austin, and the surrounding areas. He’s a numbers guy that’s good with people. He is confident that he can offer you knowledge and tools most other agents can’t. He specializes in commercial and investment property.
Chamber ambassadors get points for attending Chamber functions and recruiting new members. Each month, the ambassador who received the most points is honored at the Chamber ambassador lunch, in the Chamber Link Newsletter, and on the Chamber’s Facebook page. The ambassador who has received the most points at the end of the calendar year is recognized at the Chamber Awards Banquet.
