Small Business Week
Support Local
Meet us in Georgetown on the Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas to celebrate Small Business Saturday. Holiday shoppers and visitors are encouraged to celebrate the season and support a small business on the Saturday after Thanksgiving by shopping locally. Participating retailers and restaurants will have specials available and events are planned all weekend. The kick-off event is typically held at the Georgetown Visitors Center between 10am-12pm and shoppers receive a free “Shop Local Georgetown” canvas tote bag to use for shopping.
The annual Small Business Saturday event is sponsored by the Main Street Program, Downtown Georgetown Association, and Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. For a list of participating businesses and more information, please go to mainstreet.georgetown.org/shop-small.
The annual Small Business Week celebrations are held the first week in May in conjunction with National Small Business Week. The Chamber partners with the City of Georgetown Economic Development department to host a week full of activities. Educational workshops are designed to help business owners and managers with a variety of different topics relevant to small businesses. Workshops focus more on detailed training, and networking activities are scheduled to help connect our local businesses with each other.
Activities for 2024 are being planned, so check back soon for more detailed information.
