Open Positions:

Marketing & Communications Manager

The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to elevate the Chamber's brand. This role involves managing website content, creating and overseeing social media campaigns, writing and distributing press releases and newsletters, and developing communication strategies with the CEO. The manager also designs marketing materials, tracks campaign success, and ensures consistent messaging across all platforms. Additional responsibilities include managing media relations, coordinating marketing projects, assisting in rebranding efforts, and supporting other Chamber initiatives as needed.

Event Center Manager

The Event Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales, service, and operations of the Georgetown Event Center. Key duties include creating venue pricing packages, securing bookings, managing client relationships, and coordinating event logistics. The manager also coordinates venue maintenance, supervises part-time setup staff, and ensures excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include managing the event center's digital presence and leading various Chamber programs. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and some weekend availability.

Part-Time Event Center Setup Staff

The part-time Event Center Setup role involves independently setting up the venue for weddings, events, and meetings, with responsibilities including arranging chairs, tables, and lighting, as well as cleaning and basic maintenance tasks. The position requires strong attention to detail, time management skills, and overnight availability on weekends. Additional duties include setting up electronic equipment for meetings and performing some janitorial work.
