Volunteers Needed for the Williamson County Mask Brigade
Williamson County is looking for people in Georgetown/ Sun City/ Jarrell able to sew, cut, or pleat materials for masks. Your help is needed even if all you can do is cut. Contact Tiffany Enos at 512-635-4123 or tiffanyenos120@gmail.com.

Georgetown Fire/ Medical Department is in critical need of new:
Medical or disposable gloves (Nitrile preferred)
N-95 respirator masks and other masks
Safety glasses or goggles
Medical gowns
Hand sanitizer/ wipes
Thermometer (non-contact preferred)

Volunteers Needed to Bring Lunch from GISD to the Georgetown Boys & Girls Club
The Boys & Girls Club of Georgetown is open for families of mission essential workers during the pandemic providing childcare for kids age 5-12.

Salvation Army Seeks Food Donations for Seniors
While The Caring Place and others are giving food to those who need it, many seniors and disabled folks can’t go pick it up. The Salvation Army is accepting food donations and delivering to the homebound in collaboration with Helping Hands and the Georgetown Health Foundation.
If you would like to donate non-perishable food for this effort, you can drop it off at
If you live in or near Sun City, you can drop it off in the container provided at Laura Spradlin’s house – 306, Dawson Tr.
If you prefer the East Side of I 35 you can drop it off between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM at the Salvation Army Office 1930 S. Austin Ave. Suite 101, Georgetown, TX 78626

We are collecting in big red “trash cans” with the SA logo on them. You can just place your donation in the can and we’ll isolate it for 72 hours and then put it in boxes for distribution to the homebound.
The Salvation Army is also helping people with rent and utility payments. If you would prefer to make a donation for this effort, just send the check to the address noted above with a note of how you want it used.
Helping Hands of Georgetown Seeks Sandwiches for the Homeless

Volunteers Needed to Help Assemble Masks at Mel’s Lone Star Lanes
No sewing skills required! Volunteers are assembling masks on M, W, and F from 9-11 at Mel’s Lone Star Lanes. Volunteer for six hours and receive a hour of complimentary bowling in the future.

Support the local, small businesses in your community!
- Buy a gift card to your favorite local businesses.
- Shop local online and choose shipping or delivery.
- Order delivery or contact-free pick up from local, independent restaurants in your community.
- If you are able, skip the refund on a local show or experience.
- If you are able, consider paying or even just tipping regularly scheduled services you are unable to use like a haircut, manicure, dog walking, or house cleaning services.
- Social media – leave a review, share their posts, or comment to increase engagement
Georgetown Area Junior Forum (GAJF) School Supply Drive
Several students that are learning from home lack the proper supplies. In some cases, getting those supplies creates a financial hardship for families. GAJF has been asked by Georgetown ISD to do a two week drive to get supplies for students. For details go to www.gajf.org.
